Our vision is to be a friendly neighbourhood house where a diverse community has opportunities to develop supportive social connections through participation and community engagement. 

Welcome to Bennettswood Neighbourhood House. The House offers affordable activities during school terms and is available for use by community groups all year round. Feel free to drop in and see what’s on at the House.

During this unusual time things may change very quickly. If Covid restrictions impact our activities we will notify participants about any actions taken including whether classes will be continued via Zoom.

Staffed office hours are: Monday 9am – 3:30pm, Tuesday 9am – 3pm, Wednesday 9am – 4pm, Thursday 10am – 2:30pm. On Friday open hours are variable so it is best to phone first.

Bennettswood Neighbourhood House has enacted a Covid Safe Plan. Please do not enter the House if you have any cold or flu-like symptoms (however mild). If you are unwell please notify the House, arrange to get tested and do not return until you are completely well. The Health Department Coronavirus hotline is 1800 657 398.

The House receives funding from the Victorian Government Neighbourhood House Coordination Program and the City of Whitehorse Community Partnership Program. Grants are supplemented by participant fees, rental income, other grants and donations.
