The House is closed for the summer holidays and our staff are taking annual leave. In 2022, our House will re-open after a long closure due to lockdown followed by some renovations. Classes and activities will be offered in attendance mode although some activities will continue to be offered online (Zoom) in response to participants’ preferences. Subject to any pandemic restrictions in place at the time, all visitors will be required to show proof of vaccination (or legal exemption) as a condition of entry and participation in our programs.

We wish everyone a safe and happy festive season and summer holiday.

Bennettswood Neighbourhood House offers enjoyable and affordable activities in partnership with the community. Participants will be notified by email about any program changes in response to any Covid-19 public health orders.

Bennettswood Neighbourhood House has enacted a Covid Safe Plan. To keep workers and participants safe do not come to the House unless you are completely well. To attend activities you must check in with Service Victoria QR code or paper form supplied.

Visitors to the House must show proof of vaccination or Australian Immunisation Register exemption to our reception staff (Covid Marshalls).

Call the DFFH Coronavirus hotline on 1800 657 398 for COVID-19 information.

The House receives funding from the Victorian Government Neighbourhood House Coordination Program and the City of Whitehorse Community Partnership Program. Grants are supplemented by participant fees, rental income, other grants and donations.
