Acknowledgement of Country

We would like to acknowledge that the activities undertaken at Bennettswood Neighbourhood House occur on the traditional lands of the Warundjeri-baluk people, and we pay our respects to Elders both past and present.

Bennettswood Neighbourhood House is a not-for-profit community organisation governed by a voluntary Committee of Governance. Day-to-day operations are managed and administered by three paid part-time staff. The committee meets on the third Monday of each month, except school holidays. The House is a welcoming and friendly place offering social, educational and recreational activities for all people in the community. Bennettswood Neighbourhood House is partly funded by course fees and gratefully acknowledges funding and support from the City of Whitehorse, Victorian Government DHHS Neighbourhood Houses Coordination Program, Australian Government Broadband for Seniors and gifts from Mission Op Shop.
